After many years as a product designer in the fast-paced world of software and venture capital, I began studying textile and surface pattern design in 2019. I was immediately drawn to the process of transforming hand-drawn sketches into seamless patterns—artwork designed to tell a story and live beautifully across fabric, wallpaper, and objects for the home.

I launched my design studio in late 2024 with a small collection of original patterns. A line of children’s sleepwear and the creation of Newport Nowhere followed in May 2025. Since then, the studio has continued to evolve, including a collaboration with Blue Atlas Marketplace on Balboa Island. There is something especially rewarding about seeing a pattern move from an initial drawing to a finished piece, whether it appears on a wall, a pillow, stationery, a candle, or something entirely unexpected.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually spending time with my husband and our two children, working in the garden, or at the beach. We live in Corona del Mar, California, where my studio overlooks Newport Harbor—a view that continues to inspire me every day.
